The senseless murder of Charlie Kirk speaks volumes as to where we are as a culture. Sin and corruption have taken center stage. Gone are the days of honest and truthful debate. People have become more than just agitators. They have been weaponized by the words of others to commit heinous acts.

The minds of those that were once innocent have been overwhelmed by the waterboarding of hate. People (politicians and teachers especially) have been using the same tactic to destroy the minds of kids. Have you even noticed that most of these killing have been done by kids. Politicians are using kids to do what they could never do themselves. Kill!

The kid accused of killing Charlie Kirk spewed the same message as those who have been saying the same thing for going on 10-years. People who don’t agree with us (or believe the way we do) are fascist Nazi’s and should be delt with accordingly.

Charlie Kirk’s was a debater. Giving those with legitimate arguments the chance to debate him. His message was, “There is a better way”. Satan hates that. Extremists hate that.

Remember: The goal of any extremist point of view is to repeat their message (typically a message of hate) over and over until it becomes the way a person thinks. It’s the words they have been hearing continually for an extended period. It’s like anything you do over and over. It becomes ingrained in your mind (if you let it). In this specific case, over time you become desensitized to another point of view. Developing a callus to anything, remotely close to the truth.

You would think that all it would take is to turn off the TV. Or pick a different college to attend. It proves that most kids are completely lost. No identity. Looking for something (anything!) to believe in and follow. As we see, the choices these kids are making are not in any way the choices of people who are thinking clearly. These are robots, just doing what they’ve been programmed to do.

Charlie Kirk was making an impact on the youth. And Turning Point USA was (and is) making a huge difference in young people. Yes, he was a conservative. Yes, he was a Christian. And yes, he did support President Trump. One, two, or any combination of the three contributed to his murder.

Here’s the bottom line.

His message was about love. The message sent by the killer was one of intolerance and hate. In the world we live in, some people think that there can only be one message. And if it differs, then you are a target. For a country that spews “tolerance”, it’s not all that tolerant.

There is a better way. Charlie Kirks message is proof of that. When are we going to wake up and realize that the further away from God we go, the worse things get. One desensitized to the truth. And let’s face it. People hate the truth because it flies in the face of the poor choices they make. And who in the world wants to be told the truth (even if it’s for their own good).

Charlie Kirks message will continue. His legacy will go on. In fact, I have no doubt it will grow stronger. These events bring the best and the worst out of people. The good news is, it’s easy to tell the difference.

No matter how hard they try, God’s message won’t ever be silenced.
